DescriptionThe print spooler was not able to add print queue %1 under container %2 in the Active Directory directory service because the cluster access control entry (ACE) could not be added to the print queue security descriptor. Error: %3. The printer is not published in Active Directory and cannot be located by searching Active Directory.
Event Information According to Microsoft :

Cause :

This event is logged when the print spooler was not able to add print queue under container in the Active Directory directory service.

Resolution :

Apply the correct permissions on the cluster server user account

To resolve this issue, use the following steps:
  1. Open Active Directory Users and Computers.
  2. Ensure that the Cluster Name Object (CNO) has Full Control permissions on all virtual computer objects (VCOs).
Verify :

To verify that the printer was successfully published or removed from Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS), use the following procedure to search AD DS for the printer:
  1. Open the Printers folder on a computer that is in the same domain as the print server, and then click Add a printer . The Add a Printer Wizard appears.
  2. Select A printer that is not attached to my computer (a network printer) , and then click Next .
  3. Click The printer I am looking for is not on this list .
  4. Select Find a printer in Active Directory, based on location or feature , click Next , and then use the Find Printers dialog box to search Active Directory for the printer.
