DescriptionFailed to create a message object inbound to Microsoft Exchange. Restart the service, and if the problem persists, restart the Microsoft Exchange server. The return code is <error code>.
Event InformationAccording to Microsoft:
CAUSE:
This problem occurs because the Connector for cc:Mail service uses the Exchange Directory Service (XDS) interface to access Active Directory. However, the XDS interface is no longer supported in Windows Server 2003 and later.
RESOLUTION:
To resolve this issue, perform one of the following steps, as applicable:
1. Click the Configuration container, double-click Site Addressing, click the Site Addressing tab, and then change the CCMAIL address to something other than the name of the cc:MAIL post office.
2. Make sure that the HomeDSA, Organization, OrgUnit, and CommonName values are correct in the registry under the following key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\MSExchangeCCMC\Parameters
