Event Information According to Microsoft :

Cause :

This event is logged when the Message Queuing Downlevel Client Support service failed to update the directory service flag in Active Directory at the end of the domain controller demotion process.

Resolution :

Uninstall the Message Queuing Windows 2000 Client Support service

The Message Queuing Windows 2000 Client Support service requires the server to be a domain controller. If the domain controller is demoted to be a member server, the service may not operate properly. If this is the case, uninstall the service.

To perform this procedure, you must have membership in Administrators , or you must have been delegated the appropriate authority.

Uninstall the Message Queuing Windows 2000 Client Support service:
  1. Open Server Manager. To open Server Manager, click Start , point to Administrative Tools , and then click Server Manager .
  2. In the left pane, navigate to the Features node .
  3. In the right pane, in the Features Summary section, click Remove Features .
  4. In the Remove Features Wizard, expand the Message Queuing node.
  5. Select Windows 2000 Client Support.
  6. Click Next , and then click Remove .
Verify :

Verify that the Message Queuing Windows 2000 Client Support service is installed and running.

To perform this procedure, you must have membership in Administrators , or you must have been delegated the appropriate authority.

To verify that the Message Queuing Windows 2000 Client Support service is installed and running:
  1. Open the Services snap-in. To open Services, click Start . In the search box, type services.msc , and then press ENTER.
  2. Scroll down the list of services to confirm the existence of the Message Queuing Windows 2000 Client Support service.
  3. Verify that the Message Queuing Windows 2000 Client Support service is started.
  4. For further confirmation, run a test application that uses the Active Directory features that you require.
