Event InformationAccording To Microsoft:
Cause:

The message transfer agent (MTA) determined that this message reached the X.400 limit for hop count and reroute attempts. This problem may occur when you apply Microsoft Exchange Server Service Pack 4 (SP4) to the Microsoft Exchange Server computer that contains the Internet Mail Service for other sites in the organization.Messages originating in connected sites may lose their subject lines. Messages originating from within the Internet Mail Service site will not lose their subject lines. This is an interoperability issue between Microsoft Exchange Server SP3 and SP4.

Resolution:
Use Network Monitor to capture Network Traces, then view these traces from Network Monitor for any network issue. Verify that the routing is configured correctly and that there are no communication failures. For more information, see Knowledge Base article Q166734. If this server was upgraded to Microsoft Exchange Server SP4, upgrade the servers in other sites to SP4 as well.
